I had the privilege of teaching at Open Door Community Church, in Sherwood, Arkansas for their annual Bible Conference back in September of 2014. Other speakers included Peggy Campolo, author, speaker and wife of Evangelist Tony Campolo; Roberta Showalter Kreider; Jay Bakker, son of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, and the Pastor of Revolution Church in  Minneapolis; Rev Vince Anderson,  from Revolution Church in New York City; Rev Michael Qualls, Senior Pastor Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bartlett, Tennessee.

My topic was The Bible and Homosexuality: Taking the Punch  Out of the “Clobber” Passages. This study was an overview of those Scriptures used to define, condemn, judge and exclude homosexuals, with a view to possible alternate interpretations. I also served on a Question and Answer panel.
